Tonight the Johnson School Recycle Poster winners were honored at the Board of Ed meeting. Each student received a ribbon and was recognized for her fine effort and artistic achievements by their families, teachers and principals, the Board of Ed members, Dr. Smith, Dr. Jordan, and First Selectman Mr. Knickerbocker. It was a fantastic evening for us all!
After School Art is back for the spring. Students will enjoy painting on an unusual surface such as a birdhouse, wooden frame, tray, plaque, or other item of their choice. They will strengthen their drawing and painting skills while developing their own creative compositions. Download the form here. Forms are due by Wednesday, March 27, and classes start April 22nd.
