Gems & Geodes

Fifth Graders are moving into the land of Gems Geodes and Crystals! They are hard at work learning how to combine basic geometric shapes like triangles, diamonds and trapezoids to create interesting organic natural forms.
Here are the websites we have been using to learn how to draw Diamonds, Gems & Crystals, and Crystal Clusters.

About Me

I have been teaching art at R.M.T. Johnson School since January 2001. I hope to encourage my students to use their creative experiences and become innovative explorers.

The purpose of this site is to showcase the artwork, creativity, achievements, and abilities of my students.

As my artists develop a large repertoire of art techniques I hope they continue to use these tools in their art to express themselves in and out of the school setting.
