March is Youth Art Month, and is a time when educators across the nation promote the visual arts and art education in our country. Congratulations to the following Ralph M.T. Johnson School students, 5th grade students Kayleigh C., Mia M., Mia N., and Giada R., and 4th grade students Gina A., and Indigo L., who have each had an outstanding work of art selected to be a part of the 2019 Connecticut Art Educator’s Association Youth Art Celebration. What is YAC? The 2019 CAEA Youth Art Celebration is a preK-12th grade art show of highest caliber work created by students in Connecticut. It is a non-juried art show which celebrates the joy, expression, creation and success by school aged children. A reception is scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Central Connecticut State University, Maloney Hall - S.T. Chen Fine Arts Center.
