On Monday, March 17, 2014, Johnson School had the pleasure of participating in the 14th Annual Celebration of the Arts, at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington, CT. The Connecticut Association of Schools has developed this wonderful opportunity for elementary schools to recognize and honor students with outstanding citizenship, cooperative skills, and artistic ability in the performing and/or visual arts. Our school honorees are fifth graders Jake Ferris and Drew Cousens. Jake and Drew are extraordinary students with outstanding skills in art and music. They are admirable individuals who are fair, honest, kind, compassionate, and helpful. They often exceed the expectations of their teachers and they are terrific role models for their peers. Mrs. McCue, Ms. Carpentier, Ms. Mohr, Mrs. Galante, Ms. Zafrin, Mrs. Jardim, Ms. Berescik, and the student's families attended this wonderful event to celebrate the efforts and achievements of these two fine individuals. Congratulations to you both!
