Fire Prevention 2016 Kick-Off
Tom Galliford, Bethel's town marshal has met the new 4th grade Johnson School students on Friday and will be seeing the 5th graders this Friday, to introduce the Fire Prevention Poster contest and also speak to them about the dangers of fire, fire prevention, and fire safety. Every year in October, the 4th & 5th graders at Johnson school are encouraged to participate in the CT Fire Prevention Poster contest. This is an excellent opportunity for children to blend imagery and typography, all while spreading a life saving message. County winners are awarded a $150 money prize, and the grand prize winner receives an additional $750!

I have been teaching art at R.M.T. Johnson School since January 2001. I hope to encourage my students to use their creative experiences and become innovative explorers.
