Fire Prevention Awards Luncheon 2014

Johnson School 5th grader, Lauren P., was honored today at the Annual Fire Prevention Poster Recognition Awards luncheon in Cromwell CT. Out of 20,000 participants, Lauren's poster was one of 32 County Winners, earning her a $150 money prize and awards certificate.
Lauren, her family, Mrs. McCue, Mrs. Trzcinski, and Bethel's Fire Marshal Mr. Tom Galliford all enjoyed celebrating this wonderful achievement.

About Me

I have been teaching art at R.M.T. Johnson School since January 2001. I hope to encourage my students to use their creative experiences and become innovative explorers.

The purpose of this site is to showcase the artwork, creativity, achievements, and abilities of my students.

As my artists develop a large repertoire of art techniques I hope they continue to use these tools in their art to express themselves in and out of the school setting.
